SSS – Benefit Filing

Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM)

The Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) is the SSS system that allows members to register their bank accounts or e-wallets for receiving benefit payments. Enrollment is required before filing most monetary claims, such as maternity, sickness, disability, and retirement benefits. Without DAEM enrollment, SSS cannot release funds.

DAEM ensures secure, direct electronic payment to the member’s chosen account. Members must upload proof of account ownership, such as ATM cards, bank certificates, or screenshots of digital wallets. SSS reviews and approves the account before it becomes active for disbursement.

To avoid delays, members should enroll in DAEM before filing any claim. Incorrect account details, mismatched names, or unclear proofs of ownership are common reasons for DAEM rejection, which in turn delays benefit payments.
