SSS Maternity MAX Benefit Planner

This SSS Maternity MAX Benefit Planner helps you estimate the highest possible SSS maternity benefit you can still receive based on your expected due date, contribution history, and membership type.

Unlike a basic SSS maternity calculator, this planner shows which months SSS actually counts (top 6 MSC months), whether you can still qualify with at least 3 contributions, and if paying future contributions will actually increase your benefit.

Who Should Use This SSS Maternity MAX Planner?

  • Voluntary members planning future contributions
  • Self-employed members who can adjust their MSC
  • OFW (land-based) members paying voluntarily
  • Members asking: “Can I still reach the ₱70,000 or ₱80,000 maximum?”

If you are an employee, your SSS contributions are based on your employer-reported salary. This planner will still compute your benefit, but it will not suggest increasing contributions, since employees cannot manually maximize their MSC.

How Is the SSS Maternity Benefit Computed?

SSS computes maternity benefit using this formula:

(Sum of your 6 highest Monthly Salary Credits) χ 180 Χ number of benefit days

  • 105 days for normal or cesarean delivery
  • 120 days for qualified solo parents

This planner automatically highlights the top 6 months used in the computation so you can clearly see which contributions matter most.

Important SSS Maternity Qualification Rules

  • You must have at least 3 monthly contributions within the qualifying period
  • Paying only 1 or 2 months will result in ₱0 maternity benefit
  • The maximum MSC counted for maternity is ₱20,000
  • Any contribution above ₱20,000 goes to MPF/WISP and is not included in maternity computation

If it is already impossible to reach 3 contributions before your qualifying cutoff, this planner will clearly tell you instead of suggesting unnecessary payments.

Why Use This Planner Instead of a Basic SSS Maternity Calculator?

  • Shows whether you can still qualify before the cutoff
  • Highlights the exact top 6 months used in computation
  • Respects membership rules (employee vs voluntary)
  • Prevents paying contributions that will not increase your benefit

Start by selecting your due date below to reveal your qualifying period.

Default due date: 6 months ahead (planning-friendly). Change it if your due date is known.

Step 1: Choose Due Date

Only Voluntary, Self‑Employed, and OFW members can freely choose their MSC. Employees cannot manually maximize contributions.
This prevents the months changing silently when you adjust the due date.

Step 2: Enter Your Posted Contributions (Past Months)

Qualifying Period: -

Fill in the months that already happened (posted contributions). Future months will be shown only after you click Calculate Max Plan.

Planner months ahead: these are future months inside your qualifying period. The planner can suggest what to pay here to qualify (minimum 3 contributions) and to maximize your benefit.
Important: SSS maternity benefit requires at least 3 monthly contributions within the qualifying period. This planner will show ₱0 if you cannot reach 3 contributions before the qualifying cutoff.
