Am I Qualified for SSS Miscarriage Benefits?

  • At least 3 posted SSS contributions within the qualifying period
  • Applies to miscarriage or medically necessary ETP only
  • Available to employed, voluntary, self‑employed, and OFW members
  • Future contributions do not count for this claim

What to Do After a Miscarriage (SSS Steps)

  1. Check your posted contributions via My.SSS
  2. Prepare medical proof stating miscarriage / ETP and date
  3. Coordinate with your employer or file directly if voluntary/self‑employed
  4. Submit MAT‑2 and required documents

Important: Contributions paid after the miscarriage will not be considered.

What If Im Not Qualified?

If you do not meet the contribution requirement, SSS will not approve the claim for this miscarriage. However, you may still review your contribution records for errors or prepare for future maternity benefits.
