SSS Late Contribution / Disqualification Checker

Use this tool if your SSS maternity claim was denied due to late contribution, “invalid payment”, or missing qualifying contributions. It focuses on deadlines and the posted date (the date SSS credits your payment).

SSS maternity benefit calculator vs this checker

Your main SSS Maternity Benefit Calculator answers: “How much will I get?” This page answers: “Will my contributions be counted, or will they be shifted because they posted late?”

  • Auto-generates your semester of contingency and qualifying period based on EDD.
  • Shows the deadline rule based on membership type (Regular/HR/SE/VM/NWS/OFW).
  • Uses POSTED DATE logic: if posted after deadline, treat as late and credit to the next month (with cascading).
  • Gives a conservative estimate of whether you likely meet the 3-month requirement in the qualifying period.

We auto-fill the 12 months below and show the official deadline. For safer results, we treat on-time as posted on/before (deadline − 7 days) to account for posting delays.

Tip: If you’re unsure of your posted date, choose Posted late to be conservative.

FAQ (SSS maternity qualifying period, deadlines, and late posting)

The qualifying period is the 12 months immediately before the semester of contingency. The semester of contingency is the two quarters that include the quarter of your EDD. Select your EDD above and the tool will generate the exact date range.

The date you paid is not always the same as the date SSS posted (credited) your payment. SSS evaluation typically relies on the POSTED DATE. If the posted date is after the deadline, the contribution can be treated as late.

Often, yes. A late-posted contribution may be credited to the next month. This checker applies a conservative rule: late → shift to next month. If the next month is already filled, it cascades forward. This models scenarios like: Jan late → credited to Feb, then Feb on time → credited to Mar.

A common rule is at least 3 monthly contributions within the qualifying period. This tool counts how many months are credited inside the qualifying period after applying deadline rules and shifting.

Deadlines vary depending on membership type and whether you pay monthly or quarterly. Choose your membership type above and the tool will show the correct deadline per month.

Note: This is an estimation tool for planning and debugging disqualifications. If your claim is denied, verify your posted dates in your SSS online records and coordinate with your employer/branch for official validation.
